Southern fried cabbage twist - Brussel sprouts


2lbs brussel sprouts
1 pk bacon
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Cut bacon into little pieces and cook until liking, I like mine fully cooked, little crunchy but not too hard.
Remove bacon from grease and set on paper towel leaving grease in pan.
While cooking bacon
Cut ends off of brussel sprouts and remove any wilted/soft leaves and cut into quarters (more if they are bigger)
Add cut/cleaned brussel sprouts into pan with bacon grease, careful that grease does not splash.
Season to taste with salt, I used pink Himalayan salt, pepper, and garlic powder/minced garlic is good too.
Once brussel sprouts are cooked to your liking return cooked bacon to the pan and stir together and enjoy
